UI Development Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled UI Development Engineer (Equity-based) with strong experience in React, Next.js, and Java (3-5 years) for front-end development and integration with back-end services such as Cassandra, model services, and Kafka. You will play a critical role in implementing wireframes with advanced design libraries and ensuring smooth integration between the front-end and back-end systems. A deep understanding of end-to-end software engineering is crucial to ensure seamless operations across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic, responsive UI components using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate UI with services like Cassandra, Kafka, and machine learning model services.
• Transform design wireframes into user-friendly interfaces using innovative frontend libraries.
• Optimize UI components for performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end functionality issues and ensure smooth interaction with back-end services.
• Provide technical insight into frontend and backend dependencies, ensuring seamless end-to-end software development.
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and continuously improve the product’s user experience.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in UI development with strong expertise in React, Next.js, and Java.
• Proven experience integrating with back-end services like Cassandra, Kafka, and machine learning model APIs.
• Ability to understand and implement wireframes with advanced frontend design libraries.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end software engineering and dependencies between frontend and backend systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with real-time data processing, security, and large-scale distributed systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
